Newly installed Interview contributing editor Fabiola Beracasa stole the spotlight at the American Museum of Natural History’s annual spring dance. The Caracas-born fashionista donned flesh-colored sequin leggings by Stella McCartney underneath a neat white blazer by the British designer.

Event chairwoman Claire Bernard organized the green-themed event in celebration of the institution’s latest exhibit, Climate Change. Soy candles set within cardboard centerpieces illuminated the Powerhouse where an organic fish dinner was served. Harley Viera Newton, Dior Beauty’s house DJ, spun beats for the social crowd in the museum’s Cullman Hall of the Universe.

Actresses Jessica Alba and Milla Jovovich lent their star power for the charitable evening, staying with revelers such as Tinsley Mortimer and Ali Wise well past midnight. New mother Jessica and her husband, Cash Warren, spent the past weekend house hunting in the West Village; they plan to make a permanent move from Los Angeles later this year.

i love the new tinsley! really, i do. she looks so fresh and chic.

2. Beatrice Inn - March 31, 2009

J’adore Fab’s Lady Gaga-inspired outfit!

3. davina - March 31, 2009

milla is gorgeous. such a pin up beauty.

must give credit when it is due… fabiola consistently takes risks with her outfits. this was an extreme one… and she pulled it off with finesse! when i was in new york last, was treated to a spectacular show by lady starlight, lady gaga’s infamous mentor. fab’s outfit is straight out of their trunk!

i can’t believe the transformation in tinsley. she looks like a totally different person compared to a few months ago. the wonders of a new hairstyle and brighter colour! she really does look so much chicer. i liked her previous schoolgirl and babydoll dresses for the kitsch factor but prefer this sophisticated look so much more. it becomes her.

never thought id see the day when tara donned such a formal gown. well done, she looks elegant.

First, I adore Fab. She always has got a great style and taste of clothes even if it’s sometimes a bit adventurous.
I also like Ali and Sylviana. They’re both beautiful party girls.
Tinsley looks so much younger now. I loved her old looks too but the “new Tins” is so fabulous and sophisticated looking now. I love it!

Oh, for the days of glamour. Tinsley’s legs don’t match the color of the rest of here body; WTF are Claire and Fabiola wearing??; Countess should have had her boyfriend hold his own jacket; Arden is always just weird . They could all take fashion lessons from Milla, Tara & Barbara.

6. Jules - March 31, 2009

Gotta agree … Tinsley looks amazing with this new hair. The bangs are perfect for her face shape and it’s nice to see that the ends are curled, sort of like a nod to her old style.

Love Fabs’ fashion but the flesh-colored leggings are too avant garde for me. Milla looks so glam and Hollywood!

7. Sam - March 31, 2009

Since when is Fillipa a Countess?

8. Alix - March 31, 2009

Go Fabiola! :)
Usually a hit or miss but… she looks awesome here.
Have to love Arden. She marches to her own beat.

9. Spicy Shoes - March 31, 2009

I love Fab! She’s my fave of all the girls.

10. sercy - March 31, 2009
