The Frick Collection’s Young Fellows Ball is the first must-attend date of the buoyant, Upper East Side spring social calendar. Park Avenue’s thriving It girls arrived in droves, befitted in gowns by the Philippines’ Tory Burch, socialite and fashion designer Monique Lhuillier, all the while encrusted in gems by real estate heiress Ivanka Trump, a sponsor of the event through her diamond jewelry firm Ivanka Trump Collection.
Resident 10021 princess Tinsley Mortimer arrived on the arm of her husband, Guggenheim Partners executive Topper Mortimer. Tinsley, Byrdie Bell, and Lydia Hearst have commited to model gowns by Donatella Versace, Matthew Williamson, and Dior’s John Galliano on behalf of St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital at their Design Cares gala on April 30.
Byrdie attended the Frick party one day day after landing in New York from a four-day vacation in Aspen. The Ford model recently attended the birthday party of Greg Krelenstein of The Misshapes at the LES Thompson Hotel. Lydia is the cover girl of the March issue of the newly re-launched French magazine Femmes. Ivanka, a boardroom judge on her father’s NBC reality show Celebrity Apprentice 2, will appear in the April issue of U.S. Glamour. A glowing Zani Gugelmann was with Fernando Diez Barroso, a member of the Azcárraga dynasty, which owns Mexico’s Televisa.
La Perla sponsored the ball’s after-party, which was held at the St. Regis’ Astor Court, where hotel darling Tinsley has a wine cellar to her very own name in the lodge’s restaurant, Adour Alain Ducasse.

Sarah Basil looks so glam. The dress has to be vintage… haven’t seen one like it in ages. Hayley’s is great, too. Love the Chanel bag most.
ahhh… freaky styley! good memories! i was barely like two years old when the album came out but my much cooler jr high sister had it. loved it later of course. anthony kiedis was my first official celeb crush!
on a less embarrassing note, byrdie and katrina are super cute. i always love how byrdie wears her jewelry. and katrina has the perfect body. the gown’s color is so pretty.

Faye, take your thinspo quotes elsewhere. Tinsley looks great. She really does. Compared to a few months ago with her excessive curls, pink babydoll dresses, and gold Mary Janes, she has become quite the sophisticated chicster.
Ivanka is such a stunner. That is such a beautiful gown and she looks perfect in it.
sylvana is gorgeous. i love that girl. has the best style out of all the voguettes… serena and meredith’s dresses are much too short. did not expect her fiance to look like that though!
