Gilt Groupe, the online discount luxury vendor, celebrated their first year with a private dinner for their customers at Shang, the second-floor restaurant of the Thompson Hotel LES. Designers, including Peter Som and Doo-Ri Chung, mingled with their socialite patrons, such as Zani Gugelmann and Fernanda Niven, both fresh from time in St. Barth’s, and Alex Kramer and Rachel Peters, the two of them golden from a Jamaican vacation, atop the hotel’s rooftop for cocktails before coming down for supper.

these girls know how to dress. byrdie bell looks amazing. nice to see some bright colors in winter! zani and alex have the chicest takes on the LBD. i love it. erin’s shoes are too cute.

shoshanna is really gorgeous. someone else could wear that same outfit and look foolish and backwards, but shosh knows how to use accessories to her advantage and “complete” the look. sorry, stylist talk! kudos to her on the alexander wang jacket.

Zani looks just wonderful. I love the dress (though it’s probably not advisable to wear when under the duress of multiple cameras and flashes). However, she carries it well, like the pro she is. A friend gave me a pair of Zani’s Filigrana earrings for Christmas… they are so ornate and beautiful.

Why does Alex Kramer ALWAYS look like that? What is wrong with her super creepy eyes?? From now on I think she should just be shown from the neck down!

I love Zani Gugelmann. She has that tall/lean beauty to her. I don’t know why some dislike her (but I don’t really know her either LOL!). I always like how she dresses.
From the neck down Alex’s outfit is my favorite. OMG Rachel Peters is back, that sweater is awful but she looks decent. Jennifer Creel looks to have put on a few much needed pounds.
