Vision-conscious socialites converged for their first post-holiday summit on the second floor of Bobo. They were in the West Village restaurant for a dinner honoring the newest enrollees of the Villency Emerging Fashion Program: avant-garde designers Elise Øverland and Gabriel Asfour, Angela Donhauser, and Adi Gil of threeASFOUR.
Native Norwegian Elise spent time at the party with Byrdie Bell, whose mother’s uncle is married to Princess Raghnild of Norway, daughter of King Olav V. Sunkissed Byrdie is fresh from a vacation in Mexico with fashion scion Julia Restoin Roitfeld.
Arden Wohl arrived with Melissa Bent, co-founder of the now-defunct Lower East Side gallery, Rivington Arms. Screenwriter and director Arden is currently preparing for the February debut and installation of her latest short film at Yvonne Force Villareal’s Art Production Fund Lab in Soho. The semi-autobiographical drama about sex, drugs, and religion stars Arden’s best friend and frequent collaborator, actress Leelee Sobieski.

The first three pictures are really something. Jessica is so cute, Serena is adorable, and Elise and Byrdie are clearly beautiful.

Everyone looks lovely in their own way. All of these girls have their own styles. Hopey has a totally unique way of dressing herself. Zani is always sleek. Byrdie is a vamp. (And I think she is wearing Elise’s clothes too!) Love Jessica. She always looks cute.

As a New Years resolution, James, could you please go back to covering some of the older crowd? I miss Jamee, Debbie, Dayssi, and the like.
I saw Byrdie in Palm Beach over New Years. She was filthy dirty and had such an awful attitude. I was repulsed.

What a lovely way to return! I love all of the pictures… #4 is my favorite, it just looks so genuine. And Arden looks so cute.. I love the jaunty little hat! Her style seems to be maturing – and that’s a compliment.
