“First Niece” Lauren Bush was the belle of the Snowflake Ball, the annual black-tie dinner that raises funds for UNICEF, the United Nations’ children’s aid arm. The model and fashion designer was once the student spokesperson of the UN’s World Food Program and is currently the creative director of FEED Projects, an organization that benefits the UN’s school feeding operations.
Lauren, freshly tanned from a family vacation in Tortola, carried the collapsed base version of the FEED 100 bag, which provides 100 meals to children in Rwanda and is sold at Whole Foods Markets. Her cousin, Barbara Bush, served as the gala event’s junior chair and was also on hand at Cipriani 42nd Street to listen to Mayor Michael Bloomberg, father of Lauren’s friend Georgiana Bloomberg, speak about his relationship with the charity. UNICEF goodwill ambassador Lucy Liu was honored with a humanitarian prize for her work with women and children in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Lauren is so pretty! She looks adorable. Also Barbara Bush looks much, much better. So sleek and polished. Loves it.

i just bought the feed 100 bag. i had no idea it collapsed and then looked so cute! also, obviously, love the idea behind it. lauren is a saint for her efforts. oh, and babs is looking completely fabo as of late. the dress really complements her.

How does Lauren balance her normal-size head on that skinny body? TOO SKINNY!
Everyone looks great, especially Lauren and Lucy. There’s usually always something wrong with Barbara’s look but this time, she’s perfect!
Lauren looks way too skinny there to the point that her clutch is rather ironic.
