Ivanka Trump stole the red carpet at the Children at Heart auction and dinner at Pier 60 last night. The real estate executive was on hand for Chabad’s Children of Chernobyl annual celebrity benefit. (As an undergraduate, her boyfriend, New York Observer publisher Jared Kushner, was a leader of Harvard’s Chabad House.)
For the auction, Ivanka donated two luxury vacations: one to Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City and the other to the Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach. Also at stake was a one-month internship with Ivanka in New York, with the highest bidder choosing between working with her in the acquisitions arm of the Trump Organization or at the Ivanka Trump Collection, her diamond jewelry line.
All proceeds from the auction benefited Chabad’s Children of Chernobyl, which helps bring children affected by the Chernobyl nuclear meltdown to Israel for medical care and long-term healing.
Ivanka visited Yad Vashem, the Holocaust memorial, in Jerusalem last May as part of a three-day celebration of the sixtieth anniversary of the modern state of Israel. The heiress started the conversion process to Judaism earlier this month. She is studying with Rabbi Haskel Lookstein of Congregation Kehilath Jeshurun in the Upper East Side.

Good on Ivanka. She looks divine. Drooling over how simple (yet gorgeous) her dress is. Can’t even talk about the earrings yet! I love her look. Great to see her commitment to a cause, especially one dear to the man she loves.

Go Ivanka! I think it is great that you are doing so much charity work for Chabad during your conversion, especially because of Jared’s prior involvement at Harvard. I hope that the Kushners see your commitment to Jared, his family, and the Jewish faith, and receive you warmly as a daughter one day. You look wonderful, by the way! Yalda yaffa!
Ivanka Trump is pretty much perfect. I love the dress, the earrings- and the makeup and hair are stellar. Most of all, I love that she has a normal body (like most women outside of Vogue).
I just can’t get enough of Ivanka. Brains, beauty and the guts on this girl!! To be that young and have all the business experience under her belt is a real testament to the fab woman she’s become.

She always looks amazing and she has a strong work ethic in addition to her beauty. A great rolemodel and what a 21st-century “socialite” should be.
She’s very pretty and seems to have a good head on her shoulders. I don’t get why she’s with Jared though. He’s cute, but too dumb to get into Harvard on his own. Having your father buy your admission to Harvard with a 2.5 million dollar check is just disgusting.
