Downtown It girls Serena Merriman and Antonia Thompson came out to support their friend, the model-turned-designer Catherine Fulmer, at the penthouse of the Gramercy Yoo by Philippe Starck. Guests, including hotel heiress Alessandra Balasz, were treated to cocktails, a private sample sale, and a first look at Catherine’s upcoming spring/summer collection. British model and aspiring actress Poppy Delevigne, who first lived in the Upper East Side apartment of her mother Pandora’s close friend, Sarah, Duchess of York, when she moved to New York from London, also swung by the terrace to see her friend, the Vanity Fair scribe, Rebecca Guinness.

I love Serena’s dress, Antonia has a great pair of legs, and Alessandra is so cute! I really like Summer’s outfit, too.
Everyone has such chic shoes. I want all of them! Especially love Kelley, Serena, and Jen. Way cute! I really like Antonia’s look with the white dinner jacket and short black dress. Wish I could pull that off. Alessandra’s LBD is just perfect.

These girls are all cute. Poppy’s sister Chloe had the most beautiful wedding last summer. Fergie was there. Not surprised Poppy is living in her NY apartment.
Serena is rather cute. Her dress is cute and the belt frames her figure well. Not many could pull off Antonia’s outfit but she did it and looks fab. Summer’s shoes are so cute. Dabney and Tinsley are my two favorite American girls. Dabney truly does have a wonderful pair of legs! Love her top. Must feel so fresh in the summertime.

Kelley Hoffman, I am GROWLING. Really cute girl. But what’s with the American Apparel bodysuits for shirts? Is this like her MO or something? (seriously, if anyone knows…) This particular one does NADA for the chesticular accesories. Or your arms. Really petite & cute, but…..
Catherine Fulmer is really pretty, but seems unassuming. Alessandra too. I love how everyone looks “normal”- as in, no couture, risky business, but still lovely. That’s fun too, but this is fresh:)
Love Serena, Dabney, Poppy’s outfits. Catherine is a designer? She looks like she shops at Wet Seal! Beautiful girl but the outfit looks like every other girl her age in middle America.

I agree..if your legs are less than toothpics/rocks..PUT UP THE THICK, CHUNKY SANDALS AND BACK AWAY!!!!!! it looks so trailer park on chunky girls (ahem..rebecca)…someone needs to teach these girls to accentuate the positive, hide the negative, because they clearly think it’s all positive, but it’s definitely not!
p.s. dab’s shoes are gorgeous, tailored. plus she’s stick thin. Cankles and ankle straps don’t go together!
oh and even though i think antonia looks cute, and she’s gorgeous, I would hardly call that a dress..it’s not even a LONG shirt, really. but she’s young, and it’s still a polished look.

Heavy shoes: another example of “just because it’s in fashion doesn’t mean you should be wearing it”. Very, very few women could wear these clodhoppers and there is certainly nothing attractive, pretty or feminine about them.

I’m not usually a Dabney fan but compared to the rest of these girls she looks really good. Poppy and Catherine Fulmer look pretty. The rest - not so much.

Summer and Kelley are two of the sweetest and most fun girls in NYC! I can attest to this as I’ve spoken to them on many occassions. So glad to see them on PAP again! Can say the same for Dab’s, a true darling!

I really love Serena’s sandals. Nude, so very tasteful and complimentary on everyone’s legs, however a touch fun with some embellishment.

Antonia, Serena and Catherine - I think they all look smart and cool, not fussy at all - but to be fair Catherine’s denim mini is questionable - sure she looks great but let’s be honest it’s a bit of a cheap look, in my opinion.
Kelley H & Summer - Kelley is just the cutest and has the most adorable features, but i dont think the leotard dress is doing much for her (arms or chest) and her shoes are ill fitting and dont do her any favours. Bag is cute though and like I said she’s absolutely adorable. Summer - Maybe the outfit is a bit fussy for me? It’s very nicely put together but not sure is the right one for the occasion.

Alexandra - v. sweet indeed, but yes she does look like she’s on day release from an under 18s education establishment (better she looks her age than 4 or 5 years older though, surely)
Poppy Delvinge & Rebecca G - obv Poppy is English beauty, has chosen great dress accessories, I think Rebecca dresses well for her curves but what lets her down is her self conscious facial expression in pictures - she’s got the poise to carry herself well

hilary, while i agree with you, you misspelled “sentence.” And though I’m sure it is a typo (we are all human), you should at least correct your own sentences if you are going to critique someone else’s.
Summer and Kelly…trying way too hard and failing miserably. Kelly is dressed like a low-budget Natasha (especially the shoes). I just cannot even comprehend that scoop back bodysuit circa 1992, and are those fake bangs?? Summer’s make-up is horrendous and the matchy-matchy black and white ensemble just screams “Staten Island secretary.” I would bite my tongue, but the suggestion that these two are “fashionistas” is ridiculous.
I tend to agree with UES girl so please stop your cuddly lovefest for some of these less than great girls.

bought the tinsley lip gloss yesterday, it’s ok the color is almost clear not pink, i’m a fan of tinsley but the charity behind it helped sway me to buy it.

#75, I’m not sure. They each have such different styles. Tinsley has that babydoll look going on with the frilly dresses, and Dabney is more sporty and is always in shorts, jeans, pants. Plus, I think Dab has the better body and Tins has the prettier face. I think Dabney is shorter, no? 5′2-ish??? If Tins says she is a size 2, then I guess her younger sis is a 0.
