It was a Ronson and Lohan family affair at the “10 Years of Gorgeous” anniversary celebration for Sephora. Fashion designer Charlotte Ronson and model Annabelle Dexter-Jones came out to the Angel Orensanz Foundation in the Lower East Side with their sister, Samantha Ronson, who was the resident DJ for the party.
A radiant Lindsay Lohan, who just completed production on her comeback comedy, Labor Pains, glowed in front of the cameras. Her brother, Ithaca lacrosse player Mike Lohan, and her mother, Dina Lohan, made their way to Manhattan to see the blonde beauty. Lindsay is debuting her third studio album, Spirit in the Dark, in November and will soon be in Bucharest, Romania to film her next flick, the appropriately titled, Dare to Love Me.
Heiresses Nicky Hilton and Lydia Hearst rounded the bunch. Nicky, fresh from Los Angeles, is in town for business. Model Lydia was the face of Sephora last winter for the beauty chain’s holiday campaign.

all gorgeous girls. i’m not the lower east side type but if i were, i would totally dress like dani stahl… i love the shoes and metallic skirt. nicky’s missoni dress is really cute and she has the legs to pull off that length. what can i say about lindsay? i think she looks flawless, fresh, and healthy and i am v happy to hear more and more good news about her.

Would like to see more of Nicky, she seems very down to earth all things considered. The contrast between she & Paris could not be more distinct. I am actually very entertained by her sister, she seems like such a nut case next to Nicky. Say what you want about Paris, but she looks like she is always having a good time. For sure not the best role model, though she is what she is-without shame. Even when her outfit is garish & slutty it is perfectly put together-I have never seen her look less than flawless.
Not a huge fan of Lindsay, though she is very pretty -when smiling, not holding a cigarette or holding up her middle finger. Seems like she always has a chip on her shoulder, very rough around the edges. She is a talented actress, proven as early as “The Parent Trap” Looks healthy.

lilo looks great (as does her brother (: a friend of mine is friends with him, never had the chance to meet him but now i think i just might have to!) and nicky legs are to diiiiie for. lydia looks gorgeous, glad to see her taking time to enjoy herself!
The Ronson girls are not pretty. Which one is supposed to be the model? Shoshanna looks great in that color.

There’s something very sexy about Lindsay. She does indeed have this kind of tough exterior but I too have noticed that when she smiles, she is nothing short of adorable and looks so innocent and faultless. I am so happy to hear that she’s doing so much better now. Two movies and a new CD within just a few months. Sounds like the hard working LiLo we all heard about many years ago!

LOL@Shoshanna- she kind of looks overdressed (as in, too dressy, styled, put-together..) for this event- but I love that she stays true to her classy, ladylike style.

lilo is looking mighty fine here. she is glowing. she’s such a pretty girl, always has been, and love her eye color. i think blonde works for her but i wonder what she would look like with red hair again? either way, nice to know she is doing and looking much better than before. she and sam ronson make a sweet couple and i wish them the best.

ps. ali lohan’s new single “all the way around” is sooo good. beats my sister’s miley cyrus music, hahaha. also lindsay’s own new single “bossy” is amazing. “i’m just a little bossy, i like it how i like…” so catchy..

samantha ronson is just disgusting. I don’t really care for lindsay either, but i guess if I had had the childhood she had I’d be that screwed up too. I am happy to hear, though, that she’s making movies because it is undeniable that she is a phenonmenal actress. Georgia Rule was such a wonderful performance and so deep and complex.
Coley, I agree with you about Ali. My sister is a few years younger than me and she is obsessed with Miley Cyrus, who is my age and I don’t find all that appealing. I’m more of a Demi Lovato type, if I had to pick!

Nicky Hilton’s legs are extremely skinny and bony and not particularly attractive. At All. She was much more attractive a few pounds heavier when she had some shape to her.
In my opinion, Shoshanna looks the best. Or perhaps, her look is the only one I would wear. I’m not much of a “hip” downtowner.
Re: Nicky. I saw her in person at the MAGIC apparel show in Vegas last Feb. She was showing her clothing line and you would never have guessed that she was not just another sale rep. showing the catalogs and clothing to retailers. She seemed very much the business woman. And, she is tall and very tiny in person. I wonder what she does for diet/exercise? There was time when she was getting a bit chunky.

LiLo needs to run a comb through her hair/use some products to keep it more sleek. The huge color difference between her eyebrows and hair irks me. Last LiLo note: her dress looks like a leftover wardrobe piece from “The Nanny”.
Now, Samantha Ronson has the same hair issues that LiLo does, but Sam can carry the look off…it fits better with the rest of her persona, and I like it on her. Sam’s style is completely different, but it’s consistent and it works.

Ste- I think she is just curling her big toe upwards, it does look weird. Not a fan of the clothing here. Looks cheap. I love Ali’s dress though not for mid summer. It would look darling on Tinley if it were a bit longer.

Is there something vaguely creepy about where the brother has his hand? Wouldn’t you think it’d be a little bit higher - like on her waist?
Samantha is such a ham. She reminds me of some of the freshman girls at Wellesley, Smith, Bryn Mawr, etc. who tried on the lesbian hat for a few months just to piss off mummy and daddy back home. You know… wearing their little brothers’ clothes and pinning a little flannel pink triangle to their bookbags. She seems like such a poser… comes across like some silly girl going over the top with the butch play-acting. Like she doesn’t know who she really is and is utterly uncomfortable in her own skin.
And what on earth is with the horrific undereye circles? Is she a meth addict or something? Malnourished? Or does she paint those on with eyeshadow just to look the part? Wouldn’t be surprised.
Guess I should have written “isn’t there something vaguely creepy?”

Ali Wise is pretty but unfortunately this picture makes her look like Emily Brill…

As for LiLo - considering her mother, I’m amazed the poor kid hasn’t killed herself out of embarrassment. She’s acted out ALL of her issues - I hope. Very talented and can only grow as an actor - again, I hope. Beautiful girl and I wish her only happiness.

i dont get all the accolades for Lindsay and for the Ronson girls. Lindsay is pretty, but this picture of her is far from a top one. Her eyebrows are ridiculously dark! Distracting even. I love love love whatever base she uses; her skin looks fantastic.

Plus everyone knows from all the tabs that Nicky H is basically anorexic now and has the most horrifically thin knees and legs ever. So why is everyone praising her? I just dont get what everyone’s on today.

I began reading the comments on this post and it was so refreshing for once to read some positive comments - in effect, women being nice to other women. Granted, the post regressed in their nature but that is inevitable…
I think Lindsay looks absolutely amazing (however, i agree that her brother’s hand is a little too low…). I wish her and Samantha all the best and I do think they are a great couple and obviously make each other happy. I think everyone should lay off Samantha a little - I think she is the complete opposite of a try hard!! She has a unique style which she appears completely at ease in. I really don’t think she’s trying to be anyone she’s not.
Nicky looks great (as usual) although as someone mentioned I do prefer her as a brunette. Lydia Hearst is absolutely stunning.

Sorry, but my gut reaction to first photo was UGh 3 dogs. Clothes make their middles look thick, headband is awful.
Nicky is looking good, but sunburned. Her knees are knobby, these are not the best legs in the city.

Nicky HIlton looks horrible - she does have legs “to die for”, and if she’s not careful, she will……..Plus her Missoni dress, which I’m sure is very expensive (not that she had to pay for it) looks to be of poor quality - hem is curling, shape is all pulled out.
I’ve been a dedicated follower of fashion for many years, but the standards have fallen so low, it’s really sad.
agreed. I saw the hems and seams of a prada dress the other day that made walmart clothes look high quality. it was pathetic. really if you look at high designer clothes, you have to pick and choose what is truly quality and worth the price, and what is just jacked up because of the name.

Hey. ANYONE who tries to trash-talk Samantha has to realize that she genuinely does not care what you think. Does she look like the type to care what insults pretty socialites can yawn delicately in her direction? Thought not.
Shoshanna looks like a total hottie, and she seems sweet, like you’d actually be able to make conversation with her. And Nicky, is always a class act compared to Paris as she doesn’t flash crotch or as of late, some fake empire waisted, pregnancy-look-at-me-I-need-attention-belly.
However, I’m concerned by people who still gush about Lindsey’s ‘phenominal’ talent. Give me a damn break already! All of 26 people go to see any of her movies! Stop acting like she’s a young Liz Taylor or some Natelie Wood-esq actress. She stinks, alright? She’s famous for being famous, not for her acting skills. Not since The Parent Trap has she been believable!
Well, judging by her desire to keep near constant company with pretty socialites and pretty actresses, I’d say her little play acting “oooh so butch and irreverant” thing is working for her. Not sure I can say the same about the scarred arms and undereye circles.
Hariette- I agree! It’s nice to see something other than the typical girl on girl hate that occurs on this site! I mean, pointing out a style you hate is one thing, but the constant nitpicking over womens’ bodies, etc, it just gets so tiring.
Karina- Mean Girls was pretty great. Since then…not so much, I heard LL was good in Georgia Rule, but the movie was terrible. But the girl has talent, she just hasn’t produced much.
Mean girls was pretty much her peak, at least so far. Everyone LOVED that movie, even the critics, from what I remember. And lindsay was good in it. But we’ll have to see if she can rise above being a moderately talented teen star, as she was then, to being a serious actress. Obviously she’s had the roughest transition period of her generation of actresses and I just hope it’s finally come to an end!
Karina, you hit the nail on the head. This one peaked young — way young, like at 11. Mean Girls was a fun film but come on, that was no acting tour de force. I guess people think she has talent compared to the company she keeps, like Paris HIlton and Britney Spears.
Paris Hilton is a joke, but Britney Spears must have had some decent level of talent considering that she was the most successful female singer of all time in terms of consecutive #1 albums. Her personal life is obviously another story.
As for Lindsay, well who knows if she is talented enough to be a serious actress. We can speculate all we want but in the end only time will tell.
Some of you are so fed by the media and take their every word for truth that it’s really quite sad. Instead of relying on reviews of Lohan-starred movies, why not go see a post-Mean Girls film? She was absolutely amazing in Georgia Rule. She was just a supporting character in A Prairie Home Companion but she stole every scene she was in. Go rent them. Decide for yourself.
She is an exceptional actress. How many teenagers, let alone full fledged Hollywood actresses, could open movies above the $100m mark? People are so hard on Lindsay. How many of us drank or did other things before we graduated from college? Can you even imagine being 19 and being sent to rehab by your management team because a photographer caught you with one drink? It’s ridiculous. She can’t do anything without being criticized or punished. None of you understand the pressures in her life.
There is no actress her age who has accomplished more than she has. Not even remotely close. She’s been through so much and has finally found happiness. Let her be, for once.
BV I agree about her talent. Coming from me that is the ultimate compliment because I am very discerning and hard to please, and I also pretty much loathe her besides her acting. She didn’t get sent to rehab for just one drink, though. She got sent there because of an irresponsible lifestyle she had been cultivating.
I don’t know which Ronson is trashier/greasier looking, well Sam is, but Charlotte being the feminine one and still looking like that knocks her down points as well. Thank goodness for Shoshanna classing up the event……
it all comes down to this..Shoshanna is an adult. She dresses like one- chic, sophistocated, polished, classy. Those other girls are still just that, girls. They are still in that experimental phase where they think tacky is ok because it’s “their own.” I’m not saying everyone has to look like a park avenue princess to be an adult, just pulled together, not thrown together.
Samantha is hot in that bad boy (or “boi” in this case) kind of way; she’d be Kate Moss’s girlfriend in a parallel universe. Love her style; it fits her. If she wanted to be a little more “high fashion” she could take hints from watching the character Shane on The L Word, another hot one who could make a straight gal turn around for a night.

Really, really nice to see some positive commenting! For the record, I fon’t know Lindsey or Samantha. And I didn’t know Georgia Rule was any good re: all the bad press surrounding LiLo’s behavior @the time. But Meryl Streep (one of my FAV actresses, along with Marlene Dietrich, Pam Grier, and some others) was in it, so I’ll have to check that out.
Also, why does their relationship have to be fake? Not ALL girls date other girls out of rebellion or spite. Besides, from what I can tell, Lindsey’s doing better and looking better than she has in a long time. Some would consider this the hallmark of a good relationship. Besides, wasn’t Lindsey hanging out with that lez socialite a whille back?….. Its not like this tendecy is new! But I guess some of the folk on here have the inside track on these girls and know them personally, and are not just speculating and/or hating.

Lohan’s brother is pure fug. That Ronson dj/girl/guy needs some serious eye concealer, Lohan is white trash…Lydia looks the best, I think she’s gorgeous!
Dina…oops, I mean BV, I don’t rely on the media at all for my opinions. I’m not sure what “accomplishments” you mean, but there is a wealth of talented young actresses who have never been arrested — Anne Hathaway, Natalie Portman, Christina Ricci (yes all are older than Lindsay but were around when they were 21, too) — and are good, solid performers who are respected by the Hollywood powers that be. I’d say their futures (and history) in Hollywood are much more sound than Lindsay’s. I’d say she has about a 10% chance of being relevant (for her work — I’m sure the paparazzi will love her much longer) in 2 years. I am simply not impressed by Lohan’s performances or her antics. And apparently, neither is the industry. And what $100mm films has she opened lately? I must have missed those…
