Actress Byrdie Bell has just signed with Ford Models. She is now part of a blessed by genes group of socialite-models including Amanda Hearst and Julia Restoin Roitfeld, who are signed with IMG, and Lauren Bush and Lydia Hearst, who are with Elite. The 23-year-old native Chicagoan has plenty of experiences in the fashion industry: innumerous mentions in Vogue and the enviable position of muse to fashion designers Yigal Azrouël, Chris Benz, and Brian Atwood. Byrdie is also making her debut on the big screen in the fall in Homecoming, starring her friend Mischa Barton.

I have seen her so many times in Vogue… I never realized that she was only 23. She’s a beautiful girl and I think she will find success in modeling.

I thought it said “BB for FOOD” and I was thinking, it’s about time!

Oh well, at least now she can do something productive with that pesky eating disorder.

wow, so all that starvation has finally paid off! good for her, if that’s what she wants to do. I don’t find her particularly pretty, but then again most of the models nowadays are not either. I miss the 80s supermodels – christy, cindy, elle.

yay! she has great style, I hope they make use of her tooth gap instead of airbrushing it out…

9. Gene - July 2, 2008

No wonder why she has been losing so much weight of late.

Byrdie has a very unique look. I love her eyes and the gap really sticks her out of the crowd, I hope she keeps it. Good for her. I can’t wait to see her in more editorials and advertisements in the future.
