Hervé Léger bandaged up each of the socialites for the Whitney Art Party, which the fashion brand’s parent, BCBG Max Azria, hosted this year. The ladies came in their second skin dresses to Skylight Studios for the annual event. They were met with multiple diversions: a silent auction featuring scores of contemporary artworks, a packed dance floor with a gaggle of fellow Whitney patrons, and a VIP lounge for conversations and drinks.
Tinsley Mortimer came to the studio space after attending her book launch for Dr. Stuart Fischer’s The Park Avenue Diet. The socialite is a contributor to the guidebook, which is spotted with her lifestyle tips and personal anecdotes. Tinsley’s best friend, Fabiola Beracasa, hosted another short episode for her “The Fab Life” online series for New York magazine and you can see her coverage from the Whitney party here.

tinsley and fabiola look wonderful but fabiola hits it out of the ballpark… love how these dresses show everyone’s true body figure.
Tinsley looks great, but i dont care for the red polishes. i like her print of Leger dress, as opposed to the more plain ones.
I feel like Fabiola’s shoes dont compliment her legs well. I feel they somehow add bulk. Great dress and hair style.
Are Maggie and Barbara like dating? Didn’t someone say that once before? I love Barbara’s color dress- just not on her; washes her out.
Claire is awesome, there is something about her that just rocks. She seems, i hate to use the word ‘fierce.’ (cant think of a better one!)

while olivia is gorgeous in a more classic way. anyway, i do find her shoulders too narrow, at least for the size of her head. but shes one who always play it safe when it comes to fashion.
Jeez.. will there ever be a time when Tins is NOT in the top post with that STUPID pose!!
Fabs looks great .. I think this really works for her!! She truly hit it out of the ball park.
Maggie look is not working.. the shoes..the hair and nail polish.. too Goth..
Barbara.. when you have cankles never wear ankle straps..
maggie doesn’t look goth but those colors are almost fall colors, the burgundy dress and shiny black shoes are not summer at all

Maggie just needs a total makeover. Her hair is out of control, those foot-shackles are so wrong I can’t even begin.
Olivia is perfection, but Claire is a GODDESS in that dress!

Tinz- where to start? So much money , so many problems.
Hair - color & cut at a cosmotology school for $8? Jeez..
Bag - should be dumped in the nearest potted plant.
Red polish - so yeaterday.
Pose - wear a diaper or just go pee pee!
Dress - like the fabric , but the cut is bad. Ill fitting!
Make up- too plastic. Look at the color her her body compared to her face.
She is such a fashion NO NO and she does not even know it!
Tins for the love of God- get some help! You can well afford it!
I’m so glad to see everyone looking so divine (except Barbara and Maggie — sorry they just miss the mark a bit). The bandage dresses are almost universally flattering so everyone looks vavavoom! Claire looks the best I’ve ever seen her. She better hope these dresses stay in style for a while — this is her best look! Tinsley looks wonderful although I agree the gold doesn’t really work. It’s okay, she looks like perfection — Barbie, yes, but Manhattan Barbie, not Malibu Barbie. Fabiola also looks wonderful. I hate the shoes, they remind me of granny shoes, but who’s looking at her feet when the rest of her looks so magnificent.
All look amazing! Tinsley looks better sexy than girlie. Love the red polish. Fabiola is fabulous as usual. Olivia still looks like a bobblehead. Too thin! Eat something!

SOME people may be fascinated by pictures of social Barbie Tinsley Mortimer - but MTV found out the hard way that pretty pictures don’t always mean fascinating TV. An insider said, “A Tinsley reality show was shot by MTV. But they couldn’t use any of it. It’s collecting dust. She looked good but she just got dressed and went to parties every day and didn’t have anything interesting to say. It was incredibly boring. The project is dead.” A rep for MTV didn’t return calls.
I am really tired of Tinley’s look. Time to make a change.
I agree with Anee- Tinsley does do sexy better. She looks SMOKING hot. (VA, I respect your opinion, but that post sounded like 10 kinds of hate, IMO. She looks great.)
Aye, Maggie- so nice to see you in a dress, but the facial expression & the hair… you were SO close!
Everytime I’ve seen Claire before, she’s looked kinda a mess… but this is a FINE turnaround. Goddess. Perfect color for her & love the hair.
Fabiola for the win… she should have gotten the top spot! OOOWW! That’s why she’s one of my favs!
fabiola looks great! I get the feeling she is much better looking in person than in most photos, because she often doesn’t photograph that well but every once in a while you get a photograph like this where her true beauty seems to shine through.
i agree with EVERY anti-tinsley statement. enough is enough already- just because you were born into wealth doesn’t mean you have an excuse look as if you get dressed in a pitch black room!!
olivia looks so happy and natural, unlike others shown above! she really looks as if shes very comfortable with herself and not concerned with others who are just waiting to make comments (hmm, like me?)
I like Fabiola’s look! And I really like the shoes…very different and sexy- not the usual pumps! She has a really nice figure and lovely legs! Does she work out or what?
I am not big TM fan as she is getting old in more ways than one - having said that, I think she looks cute and tiny/sexy in this pix - Fab looks pretty - CB looks big/sexy
I think Tinsley is changing her look a bit as others noted, she is doing sexy now more than baby doll. It is time, 32 is getting too old to do girlie, embrace the woman in you. . . girl.
Claire. . .great! She has always looked a bit ‘mannish’ to me in the past. . . I think the drop dead gorgeous look fixes all of that. Perfect.
At least Maggies boobs are not down to her waist.

Olivia, very stylish but the shape is not flattering for her. Whereas, Claire, the dress does wonders.
Tins wore those shoes with that blue dress the other day. I’ve said it before, LOVE that she repeats shoes because it shows me that she adores her stuff. But this time they don’t match. Somehow she pulls it together though.
Fabs, amazing dress on her, but again, shoes don’t go. She should have worn Tin’s gold ones. Women seem to have a lot of trouble pairing shoes with Herve Leger dresses.

I bet the city ran out of Spanx for this event. Tins really needs to touch up the roots. Seriously girlfriend. I really like Fabs with the darker hair. And she doesn’t look as bloated in the face as usual. Maybe she took a break from the bulimia. That chipmunk cheek look is a dead giveaway. Claire looks like a hooker who forgot to brush her hair after her last trick.
Tinsley looks her best ever. I am so over her usual baby doll get-up. That dress ought to squash some pregnancy rumors! She does look like she has been hitting the botox though.
Fabiola looks absolutely terrific but the shoes…awful! They don’t do anything for her at all - a gold strappy sandal would have been so much better and given her some height.
Tinsely - gorgeous but the accessories just don’t cut it. Too many colors.
And BB and Maggie - looks like they both get dressed in the dark!

Calloway, are you sure about Claire doing colonics? Yuck! She looks more toned than sickly (which is how you would get if you do crazy things like colonics a lot). I really like Claire… she’s so pretty in a model kind of way and has a real woman’s shape! James, please put up more about Claire, a truly lovely and beautiful girl!
tinsley looks hot! i like this sexy look on her. but she is such a conservative and a prep… i can’t see her wearing tight or revealing clothes like this again unless a company dresses her like here.
speaking of conservative… i really love barbara bush. she has a very all american look just like her younger cousin lauren.

Tinsley is conservative and prep?? With the extensions and the “pink” and the poof dresses and having modelled for Heatherette? Whether you like her or not, and I do happen to like her, it is pretty much a given that she is the Paris Hilton of the social set and looks like Barbie. Last time I checked, none of that equalled preppy.
But yes their poltics are conservative. It will be interesting to see who supports which candidates this fall.
So true, Calloway, I’m always puzzled as to why people call Tinsley preppy. She’s a WASP by birth, true, but hardly preppy.

Yeah WASP and preppy do not necessarily go hand in hand, at all. For example, most people who live in the Bible belt are ethnically WASPS, but I would hardly call them preppy. Britney is probably a WASP - bwahahaha! On the other hand, there are many non WASPS who are totally New England and prep. It’s by and large a state of mind. But I can tell you that no real prep would have pink be their favorite color. That’s not good or bad, I’m just saying.
I google-imaged Claire Bernard and almost passed out at the sight of some of her old photos from 2004. WOW, what a transformation! If that’s High-Colonics then I’m running to my next appointment!

Leger is so challenging to pull off, unless you are toned and a size 0. Tins looks gorg, pink is definitely her color. Olivia is beautiful and elegant as always. She has that perfect thin body/full round face going on. Like a 12 year old little girl, with a fab wardrobe!
Maggie and Claire need to work on their facial expressions. They both look smug and conceited, not in a good way. Way too overdone and ridiculous.

Marisa, I totally disagree. The genuis of Leger is that is works so well on so many different figures. Just look at the different body types in this post — Tinsley looks great, Fabiola looks great, Claire looks great…even ulta-curvy Kim Kardashian looks great in Leger. Of course there are limits but this dress is designed to flatter females from size 0-10, and here is evidence that it succeeds!

Agreed, they all do look great, maybe it’s an optical illusion of some sort. Perhaps it’s the secret behind his genius??
I guess I just meant that it hugs every single curve and so it’s challenging to hide any imperfections.
So, are the majority of Tinsley’s dresses given to her by designers? I know she has $$ but if you look through all of her outfits in the 143+ pics. on style.com. . .seriously. . .I don’t know how you would afford that. I design custom dresses, how do you suppose I could send one to her. . .not that she would necessarily wear it. . . but it couldn’t hurt. Does she have a PR person?

In the other hand, Clarie Bernard looks just like Miss Piggy. Just saying.
I try to say only good things but this dress is not made for the very thin and very big. All of these ladies are to thin for this dress. Only curvy women like Kim K, Beyonce, Tyra Banks etc… should be wearing this type of dress. You must have at least a 10 difference between your waist and hip , and a flat stomach to be appealing in this dress.
