Dayssi Olarte de Kanavos opened the doors to her Manhattan residence to host a luncheon in honor of Esteban Cortazar, the Colombian-born sartorial prodigy that last year, at the age of 23, became the head designer of French fashion house Emanuel Ungaro. Esteban’s fans, including Tamzin Greenhill and Rebecca de Ravenel, came to Dayssi’s Upper East Side apartment for a mid-day hour of mimosas and champagne, to check out the designer’s latest wares, and no doubt, to see Dayssi’s digs.

Tamzin and Rebecca are so chic. I love it.
Dayssi’s place looks pretty. She looks so happy. The framed pictures behind her are so cute. Oh, and I love Tamzin’s dress!
erin’s hair cut and color are quite avant garde. rebecca is so dressed elegantly, such great taste. her grandmother, countess zozo, was a very popular hostess here (london) and in paris in my mother’s time. tamzin looks like she means fashion. which is exactly how it should be! love how estaban changed ungaro so much with his gorgeous collections. it is chic again to dressed in ungaro.
Dayssi looks very natural and pretty! She looks good in plain white. Her apartment looks cozy and elegant, tres chic!

The Kanavos apartment was featured in Architectural Digest, last year or the year before. It is indeed stunning. The photo on the piano of the woman in blue appears to be her Mother.
Bads:
The hosiery on Kimberly Guilfoyle turns my stomach. Genevieve looks like an architectural beam.

#7 – I was thinking the same thing. tell me her husband frinds that attractive. Isn’t he very “metrosexual” I am sure he notices.
I have to say everyone loks great!! Nice not to see a ray of bubble gum colors!!
Daysi looks pretty, but there is an unflattering shot of her behind in the third picture.
Genevieve looks classy and gorgeous as usual, and I like Lydia’s ladylike attire.
Is that nude hose on Kimberly??? AAAAck!
