Stacey Bendet and Eric Eisner June 3, 2008

To the great surprise of her friends, Stacey Bendet, the beautiful and very social designer of alice + olivia, tied the knot with her boyfriend Eric Eisner this past weekend. Film producer Eric, the son of former Walt Disney CEO Michael Eisner, proposed to Stacey on Valentine’s Day of this very year at the Hotel Bel-Air in a room filled to the brim with roses. Stacey and Eric are also expecting their first child and she is said to be fourth months pregnant now.
After a dinner with their families, the pair boarded a private Bombardier plane to the Caribbean island of Anguilla for their own private weekend, without their family or friends. The couple were married in an intimate ceremony on the beach by a local rabbi. Eric had on an untucked, white cotton shirt over his cargo shorts. Stacey, with her hair down, wore a two-piece dress made of cascading white satin ruffles; her floor-length skirt had over ten layers.
Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Eisner!

he’s not thaaaat bad for redhead guy. well the pregnancy came first then the wedding, no doubt. i hate the reverse way pr people always write these things! just own up to it, it’s not that bad.
Stacey lucked out, didn’t she? The son of a billionaire who is actually kind of cute, an island wedding (with no parents/friends no less) via private family jet, and he’s Jewish! Stacey is the daughter my mother wish she had!

I love that he wore shorts on the beach to his wedding. I guess pants were unavailable. But of course she could muster up some lovely dress, and not just a bikini with a sarong.

Stacey is Jewish. If I remember correctly, her full name is Stacey Bendet Weiner actually. Stacey and Eric make a cute couple. Congrats to them and best of luck on their marriage!
Everyone is wishing them congratulations - well I don’t know them so I assume to wish well also; however I don’t know the least bit about her personality. Maybe people here know them better than I.

That sounds incredibly romantic. So nice that they wanted to be just with each other. Clearly, they don’t depend on other people to validate their relationship. I love it.

She’s VERY cute & pretty. Don’t know her, but if I ever get married- that’s how I wanna do it! Small & romantically, and on an island. MAYBE a few friends.
Billionaire or not, nice guy or not. I couldn’t get past that face long enough to find out his name much less anything else, especially babymaking. Ew. She’s waaaayyyy too pretty for him. Gross.
And HHH, larger weddings aren’t about having others “validate” your relationship, it’s about celebrating your love with those you care about. People can get married however they want, but don’t put down the choice of having more than 2 people there.
Now THIS is how you do it. Weddings should only be about you two not you and everyone you’ve ever met in your life. Go Stacey! I love alice + olivia even more now. Congrats to the Eisners.

There was a tv show on a long time ago about a half man/half lion (?) who lived underground in NY (?). He was always saving the woman (Linda Hamilton?) who lived in the apartment above him (?). (Sounds so ridiculous, I know). I’m a little fuzzy on the details but the point is this Eric Eisner looks just like the half man/half lion action (Ron Perlman?)
Well, duh. I just looked him up. It is Ron Perlman; now he’s “Hellboy” which was mentioned above.

Now I feel guilty for saying that. Good for them. It is nice that they were married before the baby was born rather than waiting.
