The ladies of the Upper East Side toasted one of their own, Melanie Charlton Fascitelli, at the Tod’s New York flagship on Madison Avenue, to celebrate the publishing of Melanie’s book, Shop Your Closet. Emilia Fanjul Pfeifler, Shoshanna Lonstein Gruss, and Meredith Melling Burke sipped champagne at the leather goods store and received tips from Melanie on how best to clean and organize their designer-filled closets. Guests left with signed copies of the book and luckier ones snagged appointments for personal home consultations with the author. Melanie was also honored last month at the Tory Burch boutique in Chicago by former New Yorkers Samantha Leas Gauntt and Meredith Wood-Prince.

the banishment of leggings and tights! spring is here (yay). i really like sylvana and emilia’s outfits. they seem so light. shoshanna is really pretty. i have no shame in admitting that i am jealous of charlotte ronson’s legs and tan!

Now the bad- I fear Tinsley’s time as “it” girl is drawing to a close. Her look here is so drab! Maybe motherhood is calling- don’t end up like Jennifer Aniston, Tinz!
And Charlotte Ronson is… not pretty. Nice legs though!
Is Zani losing weight again? She’s disappearing.

What’s wrong with Emilia? She looks like she hasn’t slept in a decade.
Sorry but Lydia looks the same as always…very “Bloomingdales by Mail.” She tried with the contrasting shoes but style is either something you have or you don’t, and I don’t think I need to say which category she belongs in.

Oh Zani just a bit of mascara; please bring those eyes to life. Shoshanna’s outfit could have worked, if every bit of clothing and accessory had not been so shiny. Lydia does look very nice; but damn I didn’t realize just how tall she is.
MMB looks great; and I do have to comment on Ms. Ronson…great legs, but from the hem of her dress up; OMFG what a tragedy.
I can always spot a Fanjul by that hairlip. Tinz just loves those shoes. I’ve seen it atleast 5 times already. I do like them myself. Does anyone know whose it is?
I think Shoshana did a great job, not looking too top heavy.

Emilia is such a sweet and well-liked person. Every girl in New York who has ever spent time in PB is friends with her/mentions her whenever talking about PB.

My guess is Shoshana looks less top heavy because she had a reduction. I hate her gold purse but she looks divine anyway. Being that gorgeous, I could forgive a multitude of her sins.
In their defense, some of these ladies are coming straight from work (or “work” for some of them) so yeah, they’re going to look a little wrinkly/tired/grouchy.
What happened to Eleanor Ylvisaker?! Did she fall off the face of the earth or ask James to stop posting her picture?
Eleanor doesn’t even go out anymore. I think she and Jon are trying to conceive… or so I have heard! Emilia is really good friends with Eleanor (and Tinsley) and she doesn’t go out nearly as much as she once did a few years ago. Having kids and taking care of them does that to you!
I think these women ALL look wonderful. Shoshi needs to go out way more. She is too pretty to to stay inside! By the way, who is the DILF behind Meredith?

Shoshanna has always looked more Italian than Jewish to me. She looks like a polished up Jersey girl. She’s too stocky to be considered attractive. Her look here is very Sopranos.
The best thing about this post is all of the heavy sandals the ladies are wearing. It’s so flattering on the foot. Emilia, Sylvana, Ronny, and Ali… foot love.
is it me or was savannah britt at this event? i was there, and could have swore i saw her from across the room. if it was indeed her, i guess she is as pretty as everyone says. move over olivia palermo and tinsley mortimer, savannah britt tops you two on the grand scale. she was wearing a fabulous chanel dress and i think those were christian lamboutin heels. i heard she’s going to be at the pink diamond ball? is that true?
Geez…. savannah britt certainly has launched herself a pr campaign on this site, eh? I find it amazing that some people aspire to this.

Shoshanna is beautiful, and yes i agree, very jewish and italian looking. her outfit is all glimmers and shimmers but its pretty overall. Lydia, try as you may, it just never will suit you. Even with the Tins’ crossed-leg pose. Is her dress the same print as the Tory bikini that is being advertised everywhere? Why do i feel like nothing suits Lydia? She needs a new stylist, new hair and makeup person as well.
Emilia looks god-awful here. What has happened? Work, children, whatever>> make yourself up before you go to these events ladies! you certainly have the resources.

MELANIE wrote the book on designer dud ditching (which only Tinsley is holding) and is Frump personified??
The “girls” all look droopy, bedraggled, underfed, and foot-heavy, although Holly Miller does catch the eye.

Emilia ALWAYS acts like she is too good for an event, or is only going because she has to, even though she organizes them, and puts her name on the invitations of all of them! When she had EFC she’d do probably 2,3 events per month and she ALWAYS WITHOUT FAIL put her name on every invitation as a host. Hmmm. You never see a real pr business woman like Vanessa or Leslie Stevens do that. Her PR firm was a 5 year vanity project and she will NEVER EVER admit to it.
sylvana’s shoes are def from ninewest … i guess even voguettes shop at economy stores.
u all have way too much free time to spend on this site. get a job/hobby or better yet- a real life. why spend your time ripping everyone apart or commenting about their outfits when you all clearly wish you were in the photos and not behind your computers as outsiders looking in. anyway, great to know another worthless website exists to chronicle the goings on of ny socials who also need to get some skills besides going to parties every eve.
