Fashion designer Tory Burch came on the arm of her new boyfriend, hip hop mogul Lyor Cohen. She attended Richard duPont’s art exhibition at Lever House in March with the chairman and CEO of recorded music of Warner Music Group, which is where she first debuted him to her friends.

Marina’s dress is the same color as her skin, I m pale like her and like a little more contrast.its more flattering, in that picture it all blends into one.

marina is classically lovely…reminds me of the socialites from days gone by…not many like her around anymore…but her posture is just terrible, and it does drive me nutty at times.
Dayssi steals this one. Gorgeous. Beats any Hollywood starlet. And she’s keeping with the theme. What a Superwoman!
Kimberly, you are spot on about Marina. Looks the way only someone with a trust fund from the 1800s looks. Very vintage dress. Perhaps something her grandmother, Mrs. Field, would have worn?

Tory is perfection. The dress, the jewelry, the hair. She is the only one that can pull off a simple dress like that and make it look stunning. And I love that color on her.
I like that dress on Meredith, it’s elegant but has that understated look that she does so well.

I actually do not like Daysi’s dress. It’s a little too out there.

I actually think Dayssi is just so-so. Her prime was definitely in 2003-2004. She actually looked the part.

be easy to look like a nasty beach tent, but she looks Fab in it.
In my experience, Patricia Herrera is not a very nice person.

I wish more girls had worked the theme. Most people look pretty, but this is the night to really take it up a notch. MMB did really well, she looks great and also has a little wonder woman thing going on.
Like I said in earlier posts…The Herrera’s are nasty, mean and just down right low class individuals. It’s just a facade, just a facade.

-Dayssi usually looks really cheap, but she nailed it this time.
-Tory fell a little flat this time, IMHO. WHen you look @her, she’s really not drop-dead gorgeous… but she’s got a perfect petite body & is very cute.
-Patricia Herrera-Lansing, I thought the theme was “Superhoroes” not “Endangered Birds”. You look like a dressed turkey.
I like Patricia’s dress. I bet when she walks the feathers all flutter charmingly. Rene looks great and glamorous for her. The fabric of Marina’s dress looks terrific unfortunately the design and color aren’t very flattering to her although the earrings and ring are a nice contrast. Tory wins again but it’s kind of safe and blah when you consider the event and theme. Even Anna went a bit out there.
Maybe Patricia’s dress didn’t photograph well, and maybe it does flutter charmingly. But in this picture it looks like a cross between camouflaged hunter and the turkey he just shot.

Attitude is such a nasty word from those have achieved - Herrara family no need for attitude!!?? - the few super stars I know from PAP have NO NO need for attitude given their background - but guess it comes with the territory -sad and makes you want to remind them of their roots but what is the point???? “I knew you when”
The Herreras always had money, and I wish some of you would be more specific when you say they have an attitude and are not nice. Did you personally speak to any of them and they gave you attitude? Or is all this speculation and hearsay. I met Carolina Sr once and she was nothing but warm and charming.
Dr Vogue, you have bashed the Herreras on here before, but you never give examples. And as far as facades go, they don’t need to create an artificial appearance of anything. They have a well established fan and client base, and do not need to put on airs. If they were nasty to you, it’s probably because you deserved it.
Miss Emma, I had a bit of a giggle at your comment because I couldn’t help but think of those Farm Fresh chicken commercials! I still like the dress but now I have an image in my head of those poor chickens. And I’m sure no woman wants that to be the impression she leaves
I don’t get the hype over Dayassi.
MMB looks great and her choice was better than most of the socialites’ because it fit the theme much better, which is why I agree with the decision to use the YSL stars.
I don’t know what Patricia is wearing; it looks like dead plant debris.

Marina Rust Connor’s dress seems very Silence of the Lambs. Hosiery yes, a skin colored evening gown? no no! (I’m not sure where her neck begins and her collar ends.)
Say what you want about Dayssi Olarte de Kanavos, but she looks radiant at this affair. I’m glad everyone’s not able to bash her this time, (for something like a piece of hair sticking to her lipstick).

Carolina Herrera has just renamed her perfume “CHIC” to “CHEAP”, to coincide with her other 2 perfumes “UGLY” and “MOTHER” scheduled to come out this summer.
