Only the best came out for the American Museum of Natural History’s annual winter dance. Amanda Hearst, Fabiola Beracasa, Arden Wohl, Claire Bernard, and Tinsley Mortimer chaired the event and were all dressed by Roberto Cavalli, the evening’s sponsor. The museum’s halls of biodiversity and ocean life were transformed into an enchanted forest, beyond palm print backgrounds and so far that the napkin rings used for dinner were live sea anemones.
Tinsley came to the museum on the arm of her husband after supporting fellow Dior Beauty ambassador Charlize Theron at a screening of the actress’s latest film, Sleepwalking, at the Tribeca Grand Hotel. She had spent the week before vacationing in St. Moritz after attending the fashion shows for Cavalli and Emanuel Ungaro in Paris.
Golden Lauren Bush, firmly with her boyfriend David Lauren, reunited with her cousin, Barbara Bush. The two prospective bridesmaids will both be present at Jenna Bush and Henry Hager’s May 10 wedding ceremony at the Bush family’s Crawford, Texas ranch.
Byrdie Bell received early birthday wishes at the party. She turns 23 today and is celebrating with a night on the town with friends.
Two socialites are taking a break from the city. Amanda is spending April and May in Madrid working for Spanish-language Cosmopolitan, the Hearst-owned publication. Margherita Missoni will be in Paris, to be closer to her boyfriend and immediate family.
Members of the fashion tribe ended their tropical evening downtown lining the private booths of The Box for the club’s late-night burlesque shows.

Fabiola, Arden, Margherita, and Lauren are shimmering in gold. Olivia’s rock is huge. Tinsley’s dress is very much “Tinsley” with the pink layers and all that shiny detailing. Byrdie looks adorable.
OMG, Arden, you are wearing a perfectly divine gown yet insist on strapping a red sweatsock across your forehead? For the most part, gorgeous gowns, ladies.
Claire B. is rocking a Medusa look. Yikes!

Amanda looks perfect again, Fabiola looks good, don’t understand Arden’s hideous head attire, pretty dress though, Tinsley looks Ok

The good, bad, and the ugly on first pic. Tins and Amanda are all good, bad choice for Fabiola’s figure, and Arden will be ugly no matter what she wears. Get the nose job already. You can afford it.
