Clean, shimmering water is what she wants. Amanda Hearst is the founder of the junior council of Riverkeeper, the watch-dog organization that helps preserve and protect bodies of water in the state of New York, of which she is also on the board of directors with her mother, Anne Hearst McInerney. She threw a benefit event for the cause with Luigi Tadini at Hearst Tower, the first green and LEED-certified building in New York and, incidentally enough, the headquarters of her family’s media empire. Amanda, dressed in Tibi, was joined atop the high-rise structure with her friends, including Marissa Bregman and Alexandra Richards, for the council’s second annual party.

I just don’t understand Stephanie’s wardrobe choices. Every event is a disaster.
I do love Amanda and her dress, but the highlights, the color of the dress, somehow there is too much Malibu Barbie going on.
And yes I wish Lauren B would spice things up a bit. Maybe she is just not as image oriented as the others, being that she has so many interests and is a natural beauty. While we bemoan her carrying the Feed Bag everywhere from a fashion perspective, I think it’s awesome that she did the project and carries the bag in photos (though not here). I have one and love it!

The men were simply dreadful. BKIII- finish getting dressed and get a haircut before you go out.
Nicole would have looked great if she did not look like she was having a physical reaction to Giovanni. Wear a tie man.

Lauren didn’t look like she tried- which is a shame because she is so beautiful. Alexandra really needed to do something with that hair and Marissa is just a trainwreck. Wished I had something more positive to say, but the AA meeting down the street probably had a more presentable group than this one.

Okay, Lauren, I know you’re enamored with the idea of becoming Mrs. Lauren Lauren…but take note from Katie (ahem, Kate) Holmes. Stand up straight. Wear the stiletto shoes (you know you really want to be wearing) and own it. He’s short. You’re tall. Get over it.
But speaking of sensible shoes…ay dios mio Marissa. You’re scaring me.

What ever happened to the days when heiresses went off on three-year archaeological digs, championed causes because they cared not for the media exposure, spoke and wrote with erudition, had friends, who were genuine, beyond their “class,” and had character and authentic class themselves because of it? Is anyone else appalled at this endless and shallow grasp for fame without substance? Those dresses probably cost enough to build a school for underprivileged children.
Amanda looks amazing. What a beautiful shot of her. Lauren Bush loses me somewhere above the neck and somewhere below the ankles.
I have no problem with expensive dresses as long as they are worth the money. The real problem is that some of them could have done better at K-Mart and used the rest of the money for better uses.

Hmmm… I think Amanda looks very plump. Sorry, but that dress does nothing for her. I know I’m in the minority on this one but no, I don’t view her as “perfection” here.

*I usually think blondes get too much credit for being hot, but Amanda Heart deserves every last bit of it. She is BEAUTIFUL.
*Alexandra is a hot Amzaon, and I mean that in a good way. Dress, eyes, hair- she is owning it.
EJ, what are you talking about? Who does that? It’s 2008. Not 1908. Amanda doesn’t need to be defended but if you could read, she just threw a fundraiser for her cause, Riverkeeper, and is on the board for it, too. She’s as crazy about Riverkeeper as Lauren Bush is with the UN/FEED program.
Amanda’s a stunner. So gorgeous, so petite, so blonde, and THE perfect body. She, Marissa Bregman, and Nicky Hilton go way back… the Times did a story about high-profile debs like them maybe a decade ago. Amanda wasn’t even in high school then and was already hailed as the new It girl in NYC after Paris Hilton.
So exactly why is Amanda any less of a PR whore than the other social girls? She puts her name out there and likes to get photographed just as much if not more than some of these other social girls. So why the double standard? (I won’t even get into Lydia…)
Amanda is level-headed and down to earth. The fact that she is wearing Tibi attests to that as most women of her status and in fashion shun such affordable lines.
Why criticize Lauren Bush for the plain face, she’s flawless……Aerin L. Z. is the one I can never figure out ….. cripes….. she IS makeup personified.
At least Lauren never looks tired and blotchy like Aerin.

#26 that is such bs. Tibi has a PB native semi-social publicist so quite a few girls end up wearing Amy’s clothes to certain events. I don’t see why that would make Amanda “so down to earth.” These girls wear clothes based on who is doing the PR not the clothes themselves.
Amanda is great, flawless, stunning. I think she looks curvy in her dress, but not heavy. Her legs look like they go on for miles.
I normally do not care for her roots, but here her face and trimmed ends (maybe?) look hot.

Lauren Bush looks… quite conservative actually! Whoever said that she’s not wearing five inch heels because David is short was spot-on. Lauren, you are tall and a natural American beauty. Show it off! Honestly, I think LB’s cousin Barbara Bush is pretty, too.
Amanda Hearst is flawless. Always has been. Her style is so feminine, young, and cute… and her body is the one that everyone wants. Love her (and am seething with jealousy, haha)!
