Had Providence provided King Arthur only the chance to have selected one of the fair ladies that showed for his namesake opera instead of Guinevere, it is my firm belief that his fruitful reign would have been much longer. As it stands, keen members of society descended upon Lincoln Center for the New York City Opera’s spring gala. They were there to see Henry Purcell’s rendering of King Arthur, in which the production’s costumes were designed by Isaac Mizrahi.

Opera patrons, including Coralie Charriol Paul and Stephanie Newhouse, enjoyed a dinner of Arthurian heights, salmon and short ribs, in the center’s grand promenade immediately after the performance. As soon as the dance floor was available, the glamorous women dived onto it in their heels with their husbands in tow.

Stephanie is a knockout! Love her and the gown she’s wearing. Coralie is dressed very appropriately for this Arthurian occasion. :)

This looks like such a classic night on the town in New York. What a beautiful evening. All the ladies look lovely. I love the elaborate embroidery on Dayssi’s skirt… and Stephanie looks just perfect.

All very elegant!

They all look pretty but my god! So many breasts popping out all over the place! Eva, a near nipple shot but the prize goes to Stephanie. At the other extreme, looks like Serena has joined a nunnery. What a difference between Samantha (sexy) and Serena (not).

Coralie can truly go either way. Sometimes she looks awful but here she looks very pretty.

I’m not getting the Dayssi thing going again……

I’m no fan of Coralie’s but she looks pretty good here. LOVE the necklace.

Dayssi looks like she’s wearing a curtain for skirt. And fur? Puke.

Alexandra looks tired and Stephanie’s boobs are popping out way too much.

HHH thanks for not getting the dayssi thing going….BUT
Rest assured the only jealousy is from Dayssi, if anyone knew her. .
Not from here. She is not exactly impressive. As i pointed out her former life is not the matter, nor her made up “roots”. Its her viciousness . she put on great show for people, fact is she has no taste. Racism!!!! please. please. PAP is international. As far as comparing her to Tinz or other arrivistes there is a big diffrence here, her husband was not rich. They just recently made some money off of the social circle. Dont get me started into what some of us know about that too.

Everyone looks great. Eva is terribly chic as always, again I think Dayssi looks tarty, tarty. BTW eva is not american or wasp, Still want to play the racism card?

Everyone looks GREAT.
Why isn’t serena getting married, some of us know why. But still. Why?

Eva is totally fierce. bad pic though.

I agree with #5, dayssi is bad news. She just never looks right either. a glorified mall girl.
Aristocratic? please. She is learning as she goes. I was really embarassed for her once upon atime. Hillbilly hillbilly.

James, what lovely posts this week. It’s refreshing to see socialites away from store parties and in elegant gowns at the ballet or the opera or even supporting a wonderful children’s charity over lunch with their friends.

Coralie looks so wonderful here. A simple gown with the prettiest retro jewelry I have seen. Eva’s dress is so much fun. I think Stephanie looks exceptional, too.

9. ASG - March 7, 2008

Oh, Dayssi please, please, please hire a stylist. You’ve got the height, figure and apparently the money. Why can’t you get the look right? Another “catalog” purchase I’m afraid…I’m embarrassed for her.

10. CANNES - March 7, 2008

They look great !
I love Coralies, Evas and Stephanies dresses xxx
