Henry VIII might have only had six wives when he reigned but I believe that if he lived just a little bit longer, he would have had many, many more. And if he even took a gander at the ladies that showed themselves to see a film about the two sisters that warred for his very heart, His Majesty would have been more than pleased. Annelise Peterson, now of Alberta Ferretti, rounded her friends and dressed them in her company’s frocks for a private screening of “The Other Boleyn Girl” followed by an intimate dinner at Christie’s.

Olivia Chantecaille was glowing, and brighter than ever before, because her boyfriend, the banker Ren Grady, popped the question– and the cosmetics heiress said yes. Newly betrothed Olivia received the congratulations of her friends, and their honorable toasts, throughout the evening.

In a fur chubby by Chris Benz, Byrdie Bell was seated at the head of her table, which was set with a fern and guillotine as its centerpiece to reflect the eventual fate of the movie’s lead. The ladies sipped their champagne as Natalie Portman, the actress that portrayed Anne Boleyn, recanted tales of filming in the stately manors of the English countryside in full Tudor costume.

I LOVE Annelise’s dress (the perfect one for a fun party) and admire Byrdie for wearing the fur. Valerie and Meredith look the part of Vogue editors… very stylish. Congrats and well wishes to Olivia!

Congratulations Olivia!!!!
I wish you a lifetime of happiness :)

Everyone looks great– especially Joffe, first time I’ve seen her in a while not looking like she walked out of a Banana Republic ad.

Everyone here looks amazing! I especially love Byrdie, Margherita and Jessica. Valerie’s shoes are gorgeous! I love the contrasting not matchy matchy blues. Is MMB wearing pleather? I think she is the cutest but not edgy enough to pull off an outfit like that.

I like the boots that Marina Rust Connor is wearing. Does anyone know where I could find these?

The Other Missoni Girl looks tragic, stop trying so hard!

8. cjtny - February 29, 2008

Everyone except Olivia and Tory looks like a train wreck.

9. papfan - February 29, 2008

I agree^^, but I was going to say everyone except Olivia, Tory and Zani look terrible.

Lisa’s hair looks so overprocessed…I always admired her shiny mane but it’s looking ROUGH here!
