Allison Sarofim and her Halloween parties are the stuff of legends. Socialites flocked to her West Village townhouse for this annual event dressed by their imaginations. Allison made her entrance as a peacock. She joined her friends Fabiola Beracasa (the season of autumn), Alexis Bryan (a bumblebee), and Jennifer Creel (an angel) for mingling and music on her first floor, which she had draped in red velvet. Other revelers stuck to the invitation’s call for Surrealist attire: Annie Churchill, Genevieve Jones, and Allison’s boyfriend Stuart Parr came as interpretations of Salvador Dali’s works. Aerin Lauder Zinterhofer and Kelly Klein, with their other friends, coordinated their costumes as a pack of seagulls, while Ferebee Taube’s husband Brook was my personal favorite with his candied parody of Justin Timberlake’s Saturday Night Live “Dick in a Box.” Allison had decorated her place extravagantly: the actress Ayesha Adamo greeted guests as a chandelier in a jeweled two-piece, models in French maid outfits took care of guests’ coats, shirtless men served pomegranate margaritas, and a Surrealist performance was staged. Lance Armstrong, a New York homeowner now, tried to explain high society Halloween in the city to his friend Tony Hawk.

Does anyone else think Allison may have an eating disorder? She is way worse than MMB.
Jennifer Creel looks frightful.. no worse than any other day. I thought she was dressed as a martian not an angel.
When is Celerie going to lose her post baby pooch? What is she supposed to be anyway?

Allison Sarofim is definitely anorexic. She’s so skinny it’s shocking and gross. Aerin Lauder doesn’t have the legs to wear a dress that short. Jennifer Creel should have gone as a ghost seeing as she as is white as one. Marjorie Gubelman actually looked good though. Her costume was perfect!
