The charity circuit begins and ends with events to benefit New Yorkers for Children and Manhattan’s most fashionable philanthropists made sure they started off with perfect attendance for the first class of the new social season. Dayssi Olarte de Kanavos hosted the organization’s fall gala with LeAnn Rimes. First Daughter Barbara Bush, now based in New York, made her debut to the city on the arms of her best friends Lyle Maltz and Maggie Betts. After cocktails in the basement of the Park Avenue venue, Tinsley Mortimer, Fabiola Beracasa, Zani Gugelmann, Ferebee Bishop Taube, Lydia Fenet, Eleanor Ylvisaker, Alexis Bryan, and Annelise Peterson (with a new bleach blonde) went upstairs for the dinner and live auction. When the reggae rapper Sean Kingston performed “Beautiful Girls” a few women in the banquet space stood up and danced by their chairs. After listening to the lyrics, I could understand why.

i love that picture of maggie and barbara. they both look really nice and i love their dresses. i appreciate that fabiola took a dare with her outfit because it actually works for her.
Okay, I get it, Tinsley is a social super star. She is a beautiful girl!
But please for the love of all that is holy can someone, anyone, please sit the girl down and explain to her that her signature leg cross stance looks really stupid! I mean, seriously, it looks like she needs to take a piss and needs to call her legs into action due to severe incontinence issues.
Tinsley if you are reading this: Girl, you are all glamour! Work it, own it but for the love of God find a new pose. That pose is making you into some sort of shutterbug joke.
Like Tins’s hair/make-up, very polished. Coralie needs some hair around her face, very unbecoming on her. Lose the shrug, Lisa, so yesterday. And the dress seems a bit young for a woman of your age, no? The scarf around the head is hideous on Arden. Idiotic posing on the stairs by Lauren. Sylvana has great legs but looks like a total wreck in her mismatched style. Cute dress on Zani, Margherita looks like a Bavarian milk maid. Ashley brings back memories of Linda Evans on Dynasty. What happened to LeeAnn Rimes? She used to be so cute? Too many fillers?
Except for the weird piece of fabric falling out of the bottom of her dress and the RIDICULOUS, crossed leg pose, Tinsely looks fabulous.

Is it just me or do Fab and Tins have a striking resemblance here? I’m guessing they did their makeup together or something.

Why does Arden always look like she needs a bath? I find her so gross.
