Tinsley Mortimer made me very proud as an AIDS activist by spending her Memorial Day weekend at the Life Ball, Europe’s largest charity event in the fight against HIV and AIDS, in Vienna. She joined Traver Rains and Richie Rich of Heatherette and graced the runways in their designs with Adam Brody, Alan Cumming, Amanda Lepore, Aubrey O’Day of Danity Kane, Daniela Sea, Jenna Jameson, J.C. Chasez, Katherine Moennig, Lance Bass, Mickey Boardman, Mya, and Sharon Stone to raise money for an AIDS cure; Tinsley ended her strut with Miami designer Esteban Cortazar. She went to the Life Ball party blowout at the Vienna City Hall, with Aubrey and Jenna at her side, to listen to Mya and the Scissor Sisters, before hitting some of Vienna’s hottest discos. Tinsley came home on Sunday night and capped her Memorial Day with the Mortimers in Southampton. I can’t think of a better juxtaposition!

she looks hot!!
She uses her power for good and not evil! Her stock just went way up in my book.
She looks like a middle-aged surban wife on the downturn. Texas mall hair anyone.. totally tranny.
Waiting for a new post and I had a feeling this is what James was going to write about.
Too predictable and nothing about her is impressive.
I actually think the big hair looks really good on Tinsley and I have no shame in admitting it. I am glad that she is doing something charitable, too.
agree with buckhead betty; especially since she is from atlanta.
tinsley is from richmond, no?
i too am glad that instead of spending the whole weekend with a G&T with the mortimers (just one day instead) she has traveled across the world to support a cause she feels strongly about. good for her!
She looks like a doll in the second picture!
Seriously, I know the look is “silly” (it is Heatherette for Lord sakes) but I think she actually looks pretty good.
Every great socialite has “her” charitable cause.. I am glad that Tinsley has found hers.
Good job Tinsley.
Tinsley is from Richmond. I do think the big hair suits her, at least for this. She really does look better with some curl, rather than stick straight. (And no, we don’t wear our hair big in Richmond.)
