Two of Christian Dior’s most spirited fans in New York have been Tinsley Mortimer and her former boss, Vogue editor Anna Wintour. John Galliano took a spin this year with two-piece suits and wide-brim hats, ideal for a house described as the “sexy Chanel.” It was only appropriate then that aficionados who appreciated the Jackie O. look like Zani Gugelmann and Bettina Zilkha were on the front row at Dior’s cruise show on Monday. Georgina Chapman joined them there with Rachel Zoe; Anna sat with Charlize Theron after a conversation with Penelope Cruz, who was also chatty with Tinsley about Manhattan restaurants (it was reportedly Tinsley who reassured Penelope about La Esquina). And with Anna Wintour, of all people, unusually repeating any dress, especially one she wore to an event for close friend Tom Ford, you have to know that she’s taken a certain liking to it or that there’s dialogue-by-dress drama going on between the three. (Anna, however, did not wear a soft peacoat over it this time.)

Social butterfly Tinsley Mortimer had a tough time getting into photographer Jeremy Kost’s closing-night party at the SoHo Grand on Monday – even though she hosted the event. “I know I’m on the list,” she told the doorman at the Christiania Vodka-fueled fete.
Funny that Tinsley Mortimer recommends “La Esquina” of all places…
does Zani even wear jewelry? That is her supposed ’successful’ job- designing- so where is it? She looks plain x3000. And that hair!? And dare I say- someone needs to fix a ‘deviated septum’ or some sort of fix-me-up. She obvs did not get the pretty latin genes.
At least Tins does something, yes a little bit too-Legally-Blonde-esque, but it’s something.
Again, who is Zani????? What is her backround beside designer some unknown never seen jewelry line.
and what on EARTH is going on with Rachel Zoe btw? I keep thinking she is disappearing and thinning out even more, so to compensate wears her hair even bigger. Poor dear.

Rachel Zoe looks so busted. And Georgina Chapman looks like she’s just coming down from a three day bender.
by the way, anna wintour is really losing it if SHE wore the same dress twice… within a month or so. it’s a hideous dress to begin with.
Zani and Tinsley both need new noses.
