Tinsley Mortimer, Annelise Peterson, Maggie Betts, co-host Fabiola Beracasa, and twenty-six other women competed in Princess Race 2007 between April 26 and April 29 on the islands of Turks and Caicos. Our girls competed in deep-sea diving, kayaking, golf, jet-ski racing, and volleyball for a chance to win Cartier jewelry and to also raise funds for their charity of choice, Innocence in Danger. While every girl took Cartier bracelets home, Annelise and her partner Triana Trujillo won the race in first place and took Carter timepieces. Fabiola and Tinsley took fourth place and gift certificates from Frederick Fekkai.
At the awards banquet, Fabiola, Maggie, and Annelise sang the Beatles’ Let It Be and the local band tried their best to keep up with Tinsley’s mad moves on the dancefloor. Annelise had this to say about being the champion: “Those who settle for second place do not know what it feels like to win.” We love it!

Tinsley needs to touch up her roots, Fabiola needs to loose weight and these pics are meant to look natural but are soo posed. Love the transition from Jules’ article to this one though…Keep up the good work PAP

Fattyiola needs to tone up if she’s going to wear a bikini.
Do these women do anything without a camera? Do they have any depth? Do they realize how much their image is dependent on professional hair and makeup? After a day in the life of Jules Kirby these women look like crones.
Annelise Peterson Is A Racing Princess
Socialite and publicist Annelise Peterson has been selected for a very high honor: She’s one of the “notable women”—Tinsley Mortimer is another!—who have been chosen to fly to Turks & Caicos this week to compete in the “Princess Race.” It’s some kind of charitable deal where the women kayak and snorkel and somehow it prevents child abuse. Today over at Glamour’s network of tardblogs, Annelise herself blogs about the meaning of the word “princess.”
I start to think about this idea that I am part of an excursion that dons the name “Princess Race.” So, that means that I, Annelise Peterson, 5′ 11, blonde hair, hazel eyes and 130 lbs will someday marry a strapping young man with the name of Prince Charming, live on 10 acres of land, and ride a white stallion named Hercules (okay, so there is no stallion named Hercules in any Walt Disney production, but if a girl can accessorize, she can also embellish…Wait! What am I talking about? I’m a princess! I can do whatever I want.) But, there are some discrepancies between the lifestyle that I lead and this moniker I have been crowned. I get up EVERY day at 5:30, there are no peas in my mattress, I don’t live in a house with 7 dwarves (although that could be rather naughty…)
