Our hearsts stopped too.

Like Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette in 1774, we got on our knees and prayed to the heavens saying, “Dear God, guide and protect us. We are too young to reign.”

We will continue to provide event coverage. We will continue the gossip. We will continue the Internet debuts of industry’s young beauties and fashion’s latest darlings. We started this website because of our fascination with socialites and their culture in 10021. Our interests have done nothing but grow since.

We realized that we were S.R.’s Prince of Wales, but the Crown became ours this morning. We give you this pledge: we will rule (and chronicle) justly. We wish the creators of S.R. all the best in their endeavors — their world traveling, book writing, gossip journaling, and maybe even wedding planning. But their collective judgment is over now. We’re here — and we’re not going anywhere.

As the Queen made this oath at her coronation in 1953, we will too. All this I promise to do. The things which I have here before promised, I will perform, and keep. So help me God.
